Chhattisgarh CM Trophy 2022 preview
Central India's biggest chess touranment is making a return after 20 years. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Trophy GM tournament was organized for the first time in 2002 which was won by GM Krishnan Sasikiran. The tournament is slated to take place from 19th to 28th September 2022. The total prize fund of the touranment is ₹3500000, ₹2300000 in Masters and ₹1200000 in Challengers section. Georgia no.1 GM Levan Pantsulaia who won consecutive tournaments in 2019, is slated to be the top seed of the event. GM Shyam Sundar M will be the highest rated Indian player in the field. Last date of entry is 12th September 2022. So hurry up and register now if you have not yet.
Chhattisgarh GM tournament returns after two decades
A GM Open in central India is just eight days away. Players from 15 countries across the world including 16 GMs, 25 IMs, 3 WGMs and 10 WIMs have already confirmed their participation.
